One of my favourite things to do. On most days, I am by myself painting, drawing, studying, doing little to nothing that involves conversing with people. But in those days that I get to socialise, I enjoy the above with a very good cup of coffee or tea (or the occasional liquor!)
Happy Monday people!

It’s a pity that it isn’t so easy to have lengthy and deep conversations via blogs, emails, etc. Face-to-face interaction is so much richer, with all the subtle nuances in how the other person talks and reacts to what you say. I’ve had important written (typed) conversations in the past, life-perspective changing even, but I can imagine how much fuller our discussions would have gone if I had been sitting with the person.
Ahhh can’t agree with you more. Nothing beats the real thing! But it’s always nice to know that somewhere halfway around the world, there is someone who feels the same way as you, whom you can connect with and resonate with. It’s amazing.
Nothing beats the real thing, especially as people don’t usually leave mid-conversation and come back 3 days later! I totally agree with you about it being nice to know that someone feels the same as you, despite being so far apart. It is quite fantastic how one can get closer to people you’ll most probably never meet than people you see and talk to every day. It is harder work to form a relationship than being face-to-face, but it can be deeper too over time. Sorry if I’m rambling a bit, I’m quite sleepy – it has been a long day – and I probably should wait till tomorrow to write – but why wait eh? 🙂
